i just want to say something first but: if you already have an idea and it clashes with my prompts, ignore me and go with what want to write. okay? when the author has fun i think the writing is better. these are suggestions! so.
I've also opted in to fanart/recursive works of my own fics, so i've denoted with an asterisk (*) pairings i have requested and that i've posted works for!

Something Dark and Holy:
alright might as well do fandom promo while you're here. the something dark and holy trilogy, by emily a. duncan, is composed of three books - wicked saints, ruthless gods, and blessed monsters -, and if i had to do their comps i'd say grisha trilogy meets skyrim. the series in set in fantasy!russia and fantasy!poland, two countries at war because of religious differences - fantasy!russia has a pantheon of gods and clerics, figures that are able to communicate and wield the gods' powers, while fantasy!poland has said "fuck this shit" and invented magic of their own, which upset the gods and caused war for the past few centuries. our protagonist is nadezhda "nadya" lapteva, the last of the clerics, able to commune with the entire pantheon, and who leads a mostly normal life in the monastery where she was abandoned at - until the prince of fantasy!poland comes knocking to kill her. nadya flees, and ends up meeting a mysterious soldier from fantasy!poland, alongside his two traveling companions.

childhood friends who probably were lovers or maybe not considering the whole class issue (but what's tastier than a prince/pauper romance, really), and the death of dominik still heavily hanging over and shaping nikolai..... idk what was on that water but i'd love more - a pre-canon take? dominik's ghost haunting the narrative? or maybe the show take of dominik having survived loooong after the book event that killed him? you do you!

i wrote fic for them! the only one as of writing this letter in fact. i just want more - how does it feel to be the Last Two Standing? to know that its either kill your cav or die? or maybe the aftermath of samael & loveday dying - im sure theyd become closer. i know the popular anastasia headcanon is her being from the eight, but i'd genuinely welcome Any Other House too!

or as i call them, the sibling fuckers nation. idk i just think theyre two extremely unhinged people who really suit each other. would love a buddy comedy of ianthe trying to one up augustine in what she perceives as coolness, and of augustine trying to one up her as so not lose to the baby lyctor. anyway i just think theyre fun! and tragic, considering one of them was smart and still has their sibling alive, and the other...... well.

i think that corona (early 00s stem major valley girl who has been severely time-displaced) would have fun fucking around with harrow (10th century anchorite who landed for about .3 seconds on Religion Planet before being taken off it abruptly and hasn't been coping well). or fucking her. or being fucked. you know best, really. im here for the ride

yes, we all know jon was supposed to be visenya so aegon could have his two wives. but hear me out. rhaenys was the oldest and aegon was the youngest - so what if rhaenys got promoted to queen when aerys dies (elia is dornish, no way she'd pass up her daughter on the line of succession), and as so avoid Blackfyre 2 when jon comes of age, she marries jon, aegon and rhaenys? what would be the dynamics between them?

fascinated by the implications of this. targaryen-style marriage in an au where they're both raised together? canonverse where rhaenys survives and is sent to be ned's ward, and romance happens? how can this couple come to be? you can ignore my above incest dnw for this!

thee most storybook-like out of the siblings - robb who believed in justice and fairness and sansa who believed in rescuing princes! so alike and yet because of the way life is, they ended in different yet similar places: robb dead with a wolf sewn on his head, and sansa "dead" with littlefinger sewing himself in her head. it's fascinating to see them and how they go on about the world, and how it ultimately fucks them over and over and over. i'd love an au where robb DOES manage to rescue sansa and live, or maybe the au where they go to pentos together. something! anything! go wild!

siblings who have been each other's world against all adversity... lyney who's quieter when he's alone with lynette bc he doesn't feel the need to be the Magician Who's Running The Show and have his barriers put up... Their Shared Past... i think anything with them would be nice.

i'm a big fan of the siblings and scaramouche, so why not mash them together into a pile and see what happens? i prefer abyss prince aether and traveler lumine (which scaramouche could meet and compare, without realizing theyre Siblings, and then when they all get together there's a slow, but dawning, realization), but i'd be delighted with anything!

i just think they acted cute during the event! what if scaramouche had teamed up with layla? what if they paired up (academically speaking) and it turned into mutual, begrudging respect, and then into a lovely romance and/or one night stand? i just think they'd be good for each other tbh!!
